Classroom Delivery |
|
The best opportunities occur when parents are available to attend a class during the hours their child is in school, and when the school can provide classroom space. When school starts for the child, the parent stays for the adult literacy class. Babysitting services are provided for pre-school children, where appropriate. Being located at the child's school allows for planned and supervised adult-student tutoring services to occur during the regular instructional day. Adults practice tutoring skills and children receive personal tutoring. School administrators and teachers see greater parent involvement as parents feel more comfortable in the school environment.

students react well to the engaging story
lines and easy-to-follow workbook,
which keeps them actively participating.

and grammar activities provides a comprehensive
and effective approach to language learning." Trish Kerns, Sacramento City Unified School
